Glenmere Lake, Orange County.

Glenmere Lake is located 9 miles southeast of the city of Middletown. The lake was created in the late 18th century. It is shallow and weedy with large expanses covered by emergent vegetation in the summer months. There is a fishing dock, boat ramp and shoreline access at Glenmere Lake Park. Largemouth bass and chain pickerel are the main gamefish. There is also an abundance of perch, black crappie, bullhead and sunfish.
